Website Purpose: The purpose of this website is so that Northeast players who have been identified as serious candidates for the AC Games and ECPS can register for Tryouts and be provided with information that answers any questions they may have about the process.
Player Registration for the 2016 Area Code/East Coast Pro Northeast Teams will start February 1, 2016 at 12:00 PM.  If you are registering, remember you can only select one tryout to attend.  Consult your final exam schedule and any other potential conflicts you may have prior to registering online!  Changing dates after you register is extremely difficult if not impossible.   The DEADLINE for registration is May 27th at midnight!

You will need a validation code when registering.  That code is issued by your recommending scout.  You
MUST be invited and recommended to tryout by one of the 30 Full-Time Professional Scouts that cover the Northeastern States (ME, NH, MA, CT, VT, RI, NY, PA, NJ, DE and Eastern Canada).  Please refer to our Staff Page for the Scouts eligible to Invite Players.  THESE TRYOUTS ARE FREE OF CHARGE!  Our objective during tryouts is to identify potential professional prospects for 2017 MLB Draft and select players for our teams.

This is not a showcase!
These tryouts are an honor and privilege to attend.  Although we welcome the college coaches to attend and understand the added benefit to the players is that college recruiters are there to watch them; these tryouts are for a purpose.  The Scouts do their best to give everyone the opportunity to show their skills and talents.  However, due to weather, time and numbers, that may not always be possible.

On the day of your selected tryout, player registration begins at 8 AM, where you are required to turn in your Waiver & Release and Confirmation Letter in exchange for a T-Shirt and roster number.  The Waiver & Release is located throughout this website.  The Confirmation Letters will be sent out, via e-mail, by June 1st.  Please do not call or write an e-mail asking if we received your online registration prior to June 1st..  If you have not received the confirmation letter by June 1st, please e-mail us at

Callback tryouts will be conducted in the afternoon on each tryout date.  The Scouts will ask selected players to remain for the callback session conducted 3-6 PM at the end of the 2 PM session.  Please make plans to attend the whole day.  That includes having your own water and food for the day.

Please be prepared with any and all baseball equipment needed to participate.  That includes but not limited too:  Turfs, cleats, baseball pants, baseball hat, belt, socks, helmets, wooden bats only, catchers equipment, batting gloves, glove and etc....  Absolutely NO cutoff shirts or shorts are allowed during the tryouts.  Please remove all earrings or visible jewelry prior to registering for safety reasons.

Disclaimer:  We are not responsible for your equipment or its protection from damage or theft while at one of the tryouts.  Its your responsibility, the player!  However, anyone caught stealing or in possession of equipment that is not theirs, will be removed from the facility, immediately charged and prosecuted at the laws fullest extent.  In addition to being asked to leave and being prosecuted, you will no longer be eligible to participate or make any of the teams.

Questions:  Please don't e-mail questions without consulting this website for the answer.

Good luck this season and see you all soon!

Best Regards,

The Northeast Professional Scouts

Tryouts are by invitation only and each player is required to have a recommendation from a professional scout.  Please consult your final exam and school schedules prior to registering.  You need to select ONLY ONE TRYOUT to attend!  You must print and complete the invitational packet that includes the Waiver & Release and player acknowledgments.
